K-kun was pouring tea with glass jar after morning snack time. His glass overflowed and tea was spilled onto the table, forming a puddle.  Watching this happen, he began tapping the puddle with his both hands. Splash! Splash! H-chan and E-chan heard the sound from the corner of classroom, and came to the table to join the fun. Z-kun also stood up, and started making noise by slapping the table with his hands. All the children were standing on their feet and creating all kinds of rhythms and sounds, laughing with joy; there it was, a Fuki morning jam session!

It was a rare morning where K-kun, who did not show interest in eating morning snacks at all, came to pour tea at the table, that eventually lead to a spontaneous jam session. The sight of K-kun coming to the table and resonate with others made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Moreover, the particular way 0 to 1 year olds enjoying the rhythms and sounds they are making while carefully listening to others made me realize just how skilled they are at responding to surrounding environments.
